Paperwork and taxes, ready before your accountant asks.
keeps your documents, waivers, licences, BBP certificates and taxes in one place called Paperwork. It fills in your write-offs from the rent, supplies and shows you already paid through the app, keeps your W-9 and 1099s, and builds the pack your accountant needs.

Write-offs filled in from your own records
Maya Rivera rents Booth 1 at Cal's studio for $180 a week. She orders ink and cartridges through the app and worked one convention this year. Paperwork already knows all of it.
Write-offs
96% filled in for youEvery row says where it came from and which line of the tax form it goes on. Booth rent comes from the 48 rent payments Maya made in the app. Supplies come from her orders and the receipts she snapped. The convention trip and its booth fee come from the show she worked.
Two supply receipts are missing, so that row says so. Maya snaps them with her phone and the row turns Ready.

Rent paid by card carries a $5.52 booking fee on $180, and that fee lands in the fees row. Cash or a bank transfer costs nothing.

Pick the share you put away for taxes. Paperwork shows what that comes to each quarter, and you mark each one paid. The percentage is yours: ask your accountant what fits.
The Assistant suggests, you confirm
The Assistant reads the same records. When a card charge looks like a write-off, it asks. When you ask it for something, it shows you the result and waits for your tap.

OctoberSort a card charge as work or personal with one tap. Tell it you paid March rent in cash and it adds the payment from your booth rent log. Ask it to get your taxes ready and it fills the lines, flags missing receipts and builds the pack.

W-9s, 1099s and a pack for your accountant
Every tax form for the year sits in one list inside Paperwork. You open it, print it or download it there.
Forms
4Cal asked for Maya's W-9. She fills it in on her phone, in the studio's brand, and signs. She gets the ask in Paperwork and by text. Cal sees only the last 4 digits of her tax ID.
Her 1099-K for card payments opens right here. It counts card payments only. Cash and tips she logged go in her year-end pack.

Your studio's Paperwork, artist by artist
Cal Brennan gets a Paperwork of his own for the studio. Each artist's Paperwork links to it, so the papers they sign with the studio, its templates and their BBP show up on both sides.
Studio paperwork
Team BBP shows every artist's certificate: current, expiring or missing. Nudge an artist to renew in one tap. It's tracking only, so a missing or expired certificate never blocks a booking.
The Taxes tab lists each artist's W-9 and the 1099 the studio owes them, due to artists Jan 31. Paperwork flags studio payments of $600 or more for review and sends the 1099s after you confirm.
State default waivers say High confidence or Low confidence, nothing more. Use one as a base and check what your area needs.
