For studio owners

Splits and booth rent, paid without asking twice.

Some of your artists work on a split. Some rent a booth. CREW.INK takes the studio's split off every payment a client makes, collects booth rent every week, and sends you an owner report per artist per week.

Two ways your artists pay the studio

Cal Brennan runs a four-booth studio. Maya and Nina work on a split. Owen and Rafa rent a booth by the week. Each artist pays the way they agreed with Cal, and nobody has to keep a notebook of who owes what.

02 · Splits

Splits that come off every payment

Theo M. books a $600 session with Maya and adds a $90 tip. Say Maya's split is 40% to the studio. When Theo pays, $240 of the session is the studio's and $360 is Maya's. The studio's $240 is deposited to the studio's bank and Maya's $360 to hers, the next business day. Nobody works it out on a calculator at closing.

The tip isn't part of the split. It goes 100% to Maya. Maya sees the same breakdown on her own payments screen, so there's nothing to argue about at the end of the week.

The booking fee sits on top of the price. The client pays it by default, so it never comes out of Maya's share or the studio's.

A card payment carries one booking fee: 2.9% + $0.30, so $5.52 on $180. Cash at the desk or a bank transfer costs nothing, and Cal marks it paid. Marking cash only flips the rent record to PAID. It isn't counted in the day-close drawer.

With autopay on, a saved card pays every Friday until Rafa turns it off. If his bank declines it, nothing is charged, the week turns Overdue and he gets an email with a link to pay another way. Rent still open at day close comes out of Rafa's payout, and any shortfall carries forward as rent owed. Nobody has to bring it up at the station.
