  1. Before

DMs asking if you take walk-ins. Reference photos scattered across three apps. Guest spot dates to confirm with a shop in another city.

  2. On the floor

A list of names on a napkin. A cash envelope. A clipboard of waivers somebody has to scan on Monday.

  3. After

Clients who saw your sheet and want the piece at your next guest spot. Follow-ups you forget because you are already packing.

Between conventions: guest spots

Guest spots run through the same link. Turn on approval-first booking and nobody pays a deposit until you have said yes to the idea, the size and the date. Intake forms take reference uploads and placement, so you know what you are walking into before you land.

Reminders go out by SMS and email 2 days, 2 hours and 30 minutes before, so a client in a city you visit once a year still shows up. Google Calendar 2-way sync keeps the trip and the bookings on one calendar.

saw your sheet at the booth sunday. can i still get #12, the panther, at your guest spot??

Send your guest spot link? The draft says #12 is still open and a $20 deposit holds the date.

Clients text your booking line. Your Assistant turns each message into a request and drafts a reply. You check it and edit it. Nothing goes out until you send it.

Run the booth from your phone

Convention mode puts the booth line on your phone. Each client gets a line number. You call 23, not the person with the rose idea.

Each line number holds that client's flash claim, card payment and signed waiver. When 22 gets up, you can see that 23 has paid and signed.

Walk-ins join the same line and pay by card with the same booking fee. No cash box to count at midnight.

Flash claims and deposits on site

Pin your sheet at the booth and open flash claims. CREW.INK numbers every design. The client picks a number on their phone and pays the deposit by card. Taken numbers can’t be claimed twice.

The rest is paid at the booth.

  • On Free the booking fee is 9.9%. On a $20 deposit that is $1.98, so the $2.50 minimum applies. You get the full $20.

  • The fee covers card processing. Nothing comes off your price. The client pays it by default; you can split it 50/50 or pay it. Tips carry no fee and go 100% to you.

  • Card payments go straight to your bank the next business day, so Saturday’s deposits arrive Monday. US-only for now.

04 · Paperwork

Waivers signed before the session

  • Each line number comes with a digital waiver, so 23 signs while 22 is still being tattooed. Their photo ID goes on the client record, not in a stack of paper in your bag.

  • Every signed waiver is filed in Paperwork, next to your documents, licences, BBP certificates and taxes. After the weekend, there is nothing to scan.

  • Sharing a table? Set up a kiosk with a staff PIN so clients sign at the booth without holding your phone.
